How To Create A DIY Concrete Planter?
When it comes to creating a DIY concrete planter, you should know that it is pretty simple. There are a few things that you will need to ensure that you are able to create the right kind of planter for yourself. These include a mold, cooking oil, foam brush, concrete, trowel, and then any additional kind of items that you would need for decorating purposes.
You start by adding cooking oil to all the sides of your mold so that you are able to get the concrete planter out of the mold without much issue. You will need to make sure that you add a good amount of cooking oil as you do not want your mold to be stuck to the concrete. Grease it all up properly so that you are able to take it out easily. Wear your gloves when you start to mix up your concrete. Follow the instructions on the package so that you are able to get the perfect results from it.
Once you have mixed the concrete, add it to your mold. Now, you will need to insert a smaller mold on top of this to create a planter. Placed the plastic mold in the middle, or however you wish to design it, and then add some pebbles on the smaller mold to keep it in place. Use different shapes and sizes for this part. Now, all you need to do is wait for 24 hours to see the results. Add your personal edits to this once it has all dried up.
