Nandrolone phenylpropionate (NPP steroid) is one of the esters of the steroid nandrolone, active up to 4-8 days (half-life – 2-4 days) after application: in comparison with nandrolone decanoate, the ether chain of phenylpropionate is about half as long, which provides it with the fastest entry into the bloodstream but limits the duration actions. As a doping drug, is effectively used for muscle growth and overall strengthening of the athlete’s body.
Nandrolone phenylpropionate for an athlete
Preparations of nandrolone ether phenylpropionate, like most of today’s sports and near sports pharmacology, were originally produced not at all for doping, but for medicinal use: they were intended for medicine, used according to indications from asthenia (an asthenic condition or a syndrome characterized by a general weakness of the patient) to osteoporosis (chronic progressive disease of the skeleton, accompanied by a decrease in bone strength).
Despite, or maybe even due to its medical origin, the steroid nandrolone phenylpropionate is currently in the highest demand as a sports dope: NPP steroid is widely used as solo drugs, and in as a component of mixes.
Effects of Nandrolone Phenylpropionate
- Qualitative muscle growth;
- Fat burning;
- Increase in power indicators;
- Increased stamina;
- Strengthening the skeletal system;
- Improving the function of ligaments and joints;
- Strengthening the immune defense.
Side effects of NPP steroid, on the other hand, have a low frequency of manifestation: androgenic (from acne to hairiness), progestogenic (from impaired libido to progestin gynecomastia), even estrogenic (from water retention to estrogen gynecomastia) complications are possible, but if the recommendations are followed, they, as a rule, do not occur or have a mild passing character. One of the key advantages of NPP steroid is precisely the optimal ratio of power and safety: strong anabolic and weak androgenic activity, minimal aromatization, moderately weak progestogenic properties, and no hepatotoxicity.
Course of nandrolone phenylpropionate
The NPP steroid has a wide spectrum of action, which makes it relevant for virtually any physical sport: it is effectively used by athletes from athletes to bodybuilders in strength, mass-gaining and even drying courses: it encourages high-quality muscle growth without excess water and fat.
The average recommended dosage of nandrolone phenylpropionate is 100-200 mg every 2-3 days, which in most cases is sufficient for the development of pronounced results without critical consequences. “Phenyl” is a short ester, therefore, for an even background of action, it requires intensive injection – at least 2 times a week.
The average course duration is 8 weeks. It is usually not used longer because of the risk of androgenic, progestogenic and estrogenic side effects that can override the positive anabolic effect of the substance.
It is important to understand that effective doses, such as the frequency and duration of the use of nandrolone phenylpropionate, are selected by the athlete individually, otherwise, which is unacceptable, they may be insufficient or excessive.
For maximum progress, it is preferable to combine the use of nandrolone phenylpropionate, rather than abuse. Nandrolone is effectively combined with analogues of various properties, from testosterone to methandienone, which is actively used by amateurs and sports professionals. Having studied the possible options, everyone will be able to choose the optimal combination of drugs for themselves: with oral turinabol, oxandrolone, stanozolol, testosterone propionate or phenylpropionate – for beginner athletes to gain lean muscle mass; with stanozolol and testosterone propionate or oral turinabol and testosterone propionate – for a similar purpose, but for more experienced athletes; and others.
Side effects
Nandrolone, especially phenylpropionate, is known to be a steroid with relatively mild side effects. As mentioned before, estrogenic side effects are rare and easy to manage. In terms of androgenic activity, Durabolin has fewer androgenic side effects (oily skin, body/facial hair growth, baldness, etc.) compared to other AAS.
At the same time, despite a moderate rate of conversion to estrogen, NPP steroid may have a suppressive effect on the production of endogenous testosterone. Therefore, it is recommended to take drugs such as HCGenerate ES and Clomid at the end of the course and during post-cycle therapy (PCT). They will stimulate the natural production of testosterone and help the body recover faster.
Bottom Line
Summing up, we can say that NPP has the same side effects as Deca Durabolin, only the former has weaker side effects. Moreover, the manifestation of these side effects is highly dependent on the dosage, and if taken in moderate doses, the unwanted effects of NPPs will not be a problem.
